Every once in a while I love to eat salad daily. Ha, you never thought you would hear me say that, right? But it is true. Especially when I spent my time with Birdie, do I find it easier to prepare my salad at night. The next day all I have to do is put some salad dressing on top and I am good to go.
As previously mentioned the jar is a saver way for me to eat because Birdie has the tendency to grab everything in sight. Especially my food.
I know I have to work on setting a routine for me and Birdie and actually eat at a table. Most of the time I am not. Shocking, eh? I know it is bad but her only routine we were able to establish is her bedtime routine. Baby steps, baby steps.
I actually enjoy our bedtime routine which starts off with changing diaper and into a PJ. Then we read books until Birdie gets restless. Then I know its time for a feed and off to bed. She still sleeps in our room but no longer in our bed. YAY! She has her own baby mattress next to our bed so I can soothe her in case she wakes up at night. I am actually the reason why she is not sleeping in her own room. I have a hard time letting go. I also find it easier to be right next to her to pick her up and feed her before she wakes up crying. I think she would be wide awake then and I would have a hard time getting her back to sleep.
Want to share your experience? I would be interested to hear if I am a whack job or if other mothers felt the same about their first baby.

Salad in a Jar Part 2 or 3..I already forgot
Apples cut in bite sized pieces
Cooked Rice
Red Pepper
Cheese slices cut in pieces
Avocado
Spring salad
In this case I actually added the salad dressing at the bottom and then piled the apple and rice on top as a barrier. Oh and I have the tendency to stuff the jar full…sigh. Makes it harder to get to the salad dressing of course. You would think I would learn my lesson….not me…..Enjoy!
Apfel in Stuecke geschnitten
Gekochter Reis
Rote Paprika
Kaesescheiben in Stuecke geschnitten
Avokado
