We did it!
We moved into our temporary house on Friday and were able to settle somewhat. Boxes out of the way, toys for Birdie within reach and most of my basic cooking stuff in the kitchen. Of course no food processor. Of course.
I had to use a hand mixer and scared Birdie so much she started crying which upset me. She is not even afraid of the noisy vacuum cleaner. Well it did not last long and this time I stuck to the recipe..well I may have added more cheese.

It was fun and even my husband considers to eat this cheese ball for dinner Monday night! Iput it in the fridge to firm up! I was a bit skeptical about this cheese ball but really it is so easy to make and tastes much better than the stuff you get at the grocery store.

Es ist wieder mal Montag und nachdem wir endlich den ersten Teil unseres Umzugs geschafft haben, hatte ich sogar Zeit fuer die Zubereitung des Kaese-Nuss-Balls. Trotz anfaenglicher Skepsis, habe ich mich ans Werk kemacht und mich sogar an das Rezept gehalten!
Ok, ich habe eventuell den Kaeseanteil etwas erhoeht. Ich muss schliesslich meinen Goennergatten vom Produkt ueberzeugen.
Das Rezept ist super einfach. Allerdings hat sich Birdie beim Anwerfen des Stabmixers sehr erschrocken und geweint. Mein einziger Minuspunkt am Rezept

Ihr wisst dann ja, was es bei uns heute Abend zum Abendbrot gibt haha.

Congrats on the move! Glad you’re able to cook again. That’s always the worst part of moving for me – not being able to use my kitchen.
Ohhh, Umzug geschafft!!! Glueckwunsch! Kurze Frage, wieso denn “temporary” und “erster Teil”? Ihr zieht demnaechst noch mal um? Na dann viel Glueck auch fuer den restlichen Umzug…
Und der Kaese-Nuss-Ball sieht wirklich vorzueglich aus. Sooo lecker!!! Schade nur, dass Birdie das nicht so toll fand. Hoffentlich gewoehnt sie sich noch an das Geraeusch!
ja, wir sind in einem temporaeren Haus bis wir Ende des Monats endlich in unser richtiges einziehen koennen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten meine neue Kueche zu nutzen und Birdie’s Zimmer einzurichten
